Spring and Summer All-Net and competitive teams are being formed.
Register for 4th Grade & 5th Grade Boys Team Spring & Summer tryouts by clicking on "register" above and registering at no-charge (for now) at Boys 2008 Spring/Summer. Tryouts will be held the week of April 14, 2008. Registered players will be notified via email.

NEW: TRAINING SESSION CONDUCTING BY COACH BRAD BUTTERWORTH AT CAPISTRANO VALLEY CHRISTIAN SCHOOL
CLINICS FOR 5th - 8th GRADE
These training sessions will be conducted every week on Monday Nights. Clinic nights will be April 28, May 12, May 26 & June 12.
CLINICS FOR 2nd - 4th GRADE
Clinics for this age group will be conducted at the following loactions on the following dates:
May 19th @ El Lazo Courts from 5:30-6:30 and June 2nd at Capistrano Valley Christian School from 7:00-8:15.
All clinics are only $10. Checks can be made payable to Brad Butterworth. Fees are due at the door.
The Training Session at Capistrano Valley Christian was a great success. This opportunity will reoccur every week as of now. There will be mailers sent out to remind families when times and dates will be. You can also stay close to the website to keep in the loop regarding these new clinics. Our focus at South Coast Youth Basketball is to develop athletes from the ground up to better prepare them for high school basketball. These clinics will include fundamental ball handling, shooting, passing, moving without the ball, creating offensive space, defensive muscle movements and offensive theory. In order to gain more efficiency out of these clinics we will be breaking the clinics into age groups. Stay close to your email and this web-site to learn more. Clinic instructor will be Coach Brad Butterworth, former SCYB Board Member and former Dana Hills High School Coach as well as Colorado College Assistant Coach. Coach Butterworth has worked at the high school, NCAA Div I, II and III levels. He is now leading the 5th Grade boys team during the spring.
